Dr. Auerbach, M.D.

Dr. Auerbach is a board-certified Urologist in Laguna Hills, California. He has recently transferred from Newport Beach, where he had a solo practice for over 40 years.

He obtained his Medical Degree from UCLA, Ca. He completed his internship and residency in general surgery followed by his residency in Urology, all at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles, CA. His special interest in Erectile Dysfunction led him to start “Impotence Anonymous” in Orange County long before oral ED medications were available.

In addition to his private practice, Dr. Auerbach was the Medical Director for “California Professional Research,” where he completed hundreds of clinical trials for the treatment of: Erectile Dysfunction, BPH, Bladder Cancer, Overactive bladder, and Urinary Incontinence. He also assisted a neurologist in completing clinical trials for Migraine headaches. This experience offered him a deeper understanding of the medical treatment for these diseases

Due to his extensive experience, multiple pharmaceutical companies have placed him on their advisory boards for the treatment of the above-mentioned diseases. These companies include Pfizer, Lilly, Bayer, Indevus, Glaxo Smith Kline and others.

Dr Auerbach enjoys all sports. He spent 8 years playing Rugby at Occidental College and UCLA. He is a member of the Santa Monica Rugby Club, where he was inducted into their hall of fame. Prior to becoming a physician, he played professional football in the minor leagues. Now, he enjoys traveling with his wife.
